Hansaplast developed its first patch in 1922. The first patch was an adhesive plaster with a wound pad. With this patch, Hansaplast made it possible to care for small and everyday wounds without the need for a doctor to help. Hansaplast is now more than just plasters. For example, they now also focus on foot care and sports care. This includes blister plasters and sports tape.
