Verified BuyerThis a gorgeous shirt, easily one of Arsenal’s best ever, and certainly in the last 30 years or so. The nod to the club’s art deco style emanating from those hallowed marble halls at Highbury is very fitting. The heritage colours harking back to the club’s original ‘redcurrant’ with the off-white works a treat, and I felt I had to do it justice by purchasing the lighter, cooler, authentic players’ version, with the textured design within the fabric of the shirt. The collar is retro, and nothing is more retro than the wonderful adidas trefoil logo with the simplicity of the Arsenal canon rather than the club’s full crest. This is simply a must for Gooners everywhere, and I guarantee that if you don’t buy one, it’s a shirt that you will regret not owning in years to come, when it becomes rare and sought after, potentially fetching hundreds in the classics market. I couldn’t let the opportunity to own one whilst I still could pass me by, and I suggest you don’t either. Just consider how even more cherished a piece of Arsenal history it could become if the season pans out the way we hope and believe it will. Come on you Gunners!
