With the city's iconic X symbols incorporated into the famous red strip plus a special logo in the collar, this adidas Ajax home shirt pays homage to Ajax Amsterdam's home with 1275-2025, the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam. In addition, the classic logo is back on Ajax's football clothing. The logo was previously worn in the period 1928-1991 and was back once in the 2021-2022 season. From the 2025-2026 season, the old logo will permanently return to Ajax kits. This decision was made to mark the club's 125th anniversary, which was celebrated on March 18, 2025.
